I am Harshita Sarda (she/her), a practicing psychotherapist and supervisor. I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology, along with a Diploma in Counseling Psychology from Xavier's College and a Diploma in Supervision for Mental Health Practice from TISS.
I work with adults 18+, supporting concerns that include anxiety, relationship challenges, self-confidence and self-esteem, depression, trauma, sleep difficulties, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I have a particular interest in working with anxiety and in exploring relationships in all their forms, with partners, family, friends, and with oneself. I am interested in how our relational experiences shape the way we feel, respond, and move through the world. Read more
I also work with individuals navigating questions of identity, self-worth, and belonging. My aim is to support clients in building emotional awareness, making sense of patterns that may feel difficult or repetitive, and reconnecting with parts of themselves that feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unheard.
My work is rooted in an eclectic, trauma-informed, queer-affirmative, and integrative approach. I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I gently adapt my approach to each person's pace, needs, and lived experience.
I have completed a Queer Affirmative Practice course with Mariwala Health Foundation and have received training in working with complex trauma through the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. My work is guided by a sensitivity to how personal experiences are shaped by relational, cultural, and social contexts.
I see therapy as a collaborative and evolving space, one where you can show up as you are, without pressure or judgment, and feel supported in exploring both the difficult and meaningful parts of your inner world.
I draw from different methods and techniques of psychotherapy to tailor each session to suit your unique challenges and experiences.
I work with care and awareness of how past pain may show up in the present.
I understand how different parts of your identity and social context shape your experiences, and I keep them in mind while working through your concerns.
I offer a space that respects and affirms diverse gender and sexual identities.
I support and welcome people who experience and process the world differently, with understanding and nurturance.
